BackEyePan is shaping, in France, handcrafted sound sculptures also called Handpans. The manufacture is carried out in the Vercors, in the commune of Autrans. In the third place "La jolie colo".
This project was born from my fascination for the so particular sound of these instruments and beautiful encounters in cultural circles.

Each work is unique, because it is done by hand. The long shaping of the very fine metal and the creation phases generate instruments with a sound and a patina specific to each realization. There are many variables that influence the patina, timbre and sound of each instrument.

I can welcome you, by appointment, to allow you to realize all the nuances proposed with my achievements. You will be able to see, try and why not "meet" the instrument of your dreams.

As an autodidact, I've had the privilege of crossing paths with other people who are passionate about handpans.
There is no academic program dedicated to the art of making handpans.
Thanks to an atypical life path, interspersed with varied professional experiences, I've had the opportunity to meet inspiring people. The exchanges and encounters that have marked this journey have enabled me to assimilate the knowledge and skills necessary to create the sound sculptures I propose today.
